About MusicRolex
A Creative Rebirth MusicRolex (fka Sound17) emerged on November 5th, 2025,
marking a definitive transition in my musical journey. While Sound17 represented a decade of traditional recording, MusicRolex was born from the need for a name that matched a new, electronic way of creating—where precision meets innovation.
The Foundation Years
For years, my sound was defined by the legendary power of a customized Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier and Ibanez JEM and JS series guitars. Both guitars uniquely tailored to my preferences by Amsterdam based guitar builder Fern’s Guitars. A custom built pedal board with selected boutique pedals like Empress, Digitech Whammy, Dunlop whammy etc.. added further sound creativity. This was the era of Sound17, raw energy, live performance, and tactile creativity.

The Turning Point
In 2020, life took an unexpected turn. A life-altering disability meant the guitar could no longer be my primary voice. Faced with the challenge of what could still be achieved with the use of only one arm and one hand, I had to reinvent my entire process.
From Strings to Digital Architecture
Leveraging my experience with Studio One Pro since 2014, the focus shifted from the fretboard to digital mastery. By diving deep into the world of VST instruments, high-end synths, and complex effect plugins—and merging that expertise with AI-driven tools—a new creative engine was formed. This transformation was so profound that “Sound17” no longer fit. MusicRolex now represents this new era of high-end digital programming and resilience.
Our Vision
MusicRolex proves that the music never stops—it only evolves. We celebrate the journey from the roar of a tube amp to the limitless precision of modern digital production.
